Patricia L. Saari

Pat has over 30 years of leadership experience in planning, strategy development, marketing, market research and demographic analysis in the healthcare and insurance industries. As the principal at PLS Consulting, she partners with Davis to provide unique insights for healthcare clients interested in market assessments for real estate strategic plans.

Pat has extensive knowledge on locating and sizing market opportunities for clinics, service lines and hospitals. Her successful projects include increasing a clinic’s patient volume by 13%, building an ambulatory surgery and medical office complex, and expanding a hospital’s bed capacity by 40%. Before starting her consulting business, Pat was the Vice President of Strategic Development at United Hospital and Director of Marketing and Communications for Allina Medical Clinic. She has held senior management positions at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota and Securian.

Pat received her bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota and her MBA in Marketing from the Carlson School of Management. She has served as a marketing instructor for Metropolitan State University and a board member of the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST. Pat is currently a board member of Portico HealthNet, a nonprofit health and human services organization that helps uninsured Minnesotans access affordable health coverage.
